Spent the day at the village for our afternoon tour of the gorge. We had lunch, drinks, a swim and explored the village. Really enjoyed the relaxed environment.

Our campsite for the next 4 days on the wetlands with lots of wildlife. Gorgeous sunset, barramundi fishing, camp dinner around the fire, live country music and friendly campers.

We headed off to town to visit the information centre that had an art gallery, museum, fossil discovery centre and then we visited the old hospital. Took a drive around Mt Isa Mines.

After a long drive today, we found a nice place to camp overnight for our first night in NT. Parked the van meters from the wetlands. Wonderful wildlife and our first sunset in NT.

We found another free fabulous campsite on an old WW2 airstrip. Other campers were spread out which we had a lot of space to ourselves. Another gorgeous sunset.
