    The Keweenaw Peninsula is the northernmost part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It projects into Lake Superior and was the site of the first copper boom in the United States. Brockway Mountain Drive runs along the ridge of Brockway Mountain on the Keweenaw Fault. At the top of the mountain we had a full panoramic view of the surrounding area including Lake Superior, Copper Harbor, Eagle Harbor and surrounding lakes and forests.Read more
