    Chattanooga to Sparta KY

    After our beautiful lunch at the Railway Museum, it was time to go. On our way south we took the Interstate, anxious to get to Laurel. Driving back north again from Chattanooga TN, we decided to take the slower roads... or as a local fella said "Ya'll takin the scenic route".

    We drove through some pretty towns, twisty mountain roads, farmlands and towering forests into Kentucky.

    The last part of the drive from Lexington to Sparta was rainy, and it was dark, so we didn't get to see too much of the area. It was 9 when when we checked into our Ramada by Wyndham rooms. We hung out in Anita and Suzanne's room for drinks and a bit of tv.    Read more
