Sperlonga and Terracina

Such a lovely coastal ride today, through Sperlonga (where mum used to hang out in her youth) and on to Terracina. Tried to reinact a photo on the beach from the 60's but couldnt find an upturned boat to casually lean against so ended up looking like a bit of a weirdo posing in my lycra instead!

The coastal road took us through some cool tunnels (i got in trouble for photographing the one below as it was uphill and i therefore wasnt putting my 'all' into it...!) which were quite fun until one took us by suprise as we were plunged into total darkness just as a convoy of lorries came thundering past us.
