Dinner party with the locals!

Although the room they provided was a little 'tired' (cockroaches, stinky bed sheets, rats living in the bathroom etc), the host family invited us for supper where we sat around drinking rice vodka and chatting about this and that (via google translate) and had a genuinely lovely evening.
A meal of liver, lung and chopped up intestine filled with offal was on offer, so needless to say we opted for boiled rice with some surprisingly tasty river fish instead.Meer informatie
