Honeymoon tandem

We had our first experience cycling through an Italian city today which was mental. We got to see how motorway cycling feels and pulled a great U-turn on the dual carriageway out the bag. This resulted in Rosie's swift but amicable demotion from map reader. Feeling a bit apprehensive about Naples now...!

Eventually made it in one piece and parked up by a lovely beach where we wolfed down a huge caprese salad and sat on the beach until our ferry arrived.

The ferry was another adventure altogether. Cats, dogs, hundreds of humans and one tandem bike packed like sardines into a tin can. However olly managed to find a little secret haven in the form of an unoccupied 'penthouse' area of deck where we watched the sun set then snuggled up and slept under the stars.Leggi altro
