We spent the morning in Broome, shopping and checking out the local museum. This had an incredible shell collection that the Queen even came to see!

Another early morning and we arrived at lunch time at Eighty mile beach - a very long beach with lots of shells and fishing being the main attraction here.

Spent the morning on the beach as the boys fished - nothing caught! Lots of shells collected and a very quick wallow in shallow water due to sea snakes and irakandji risk!!

Left early and headed to Cleaverville, stopping at Port Hedland on the way. The port is a deep water port for boats to load up with iron ore.

We took a short drive to Karratha for coffee and some retail therapy then onto Dampier caravan park. It is very close to an iron ore loading facility which sounds like a fire-breathing dragon 24/7!!Meer informatie

Back to the park today. We left as it started raining in Tom Price but it cleared as we drove out. Headed to the Dales Gorge area to do the Fortescue Falls, Circular Pool and a swim at Fern Pool.
