    Mauritius is a volcanic island 500 East of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. Home to 1.2 million it has 27 micro climates and the Dodo bird is a national symbol. The 🦤 Dodo had no fear of humans or predators before the Dutch arrived in 1598 and in under one hundred years was extinct.
