The Viking Neptune could not dock in Richard's Bay, S. Africa. High winds. Sailed south to Durban, also couldn't dock. On to South Africa's beautiful city Cape Town. We decided to skip 12 days at sea going up the West Coast of Africa. So with friends Jack and Deb we enjoyed an amazing day exploring Cape of Good Hope and then flew back to Durban to do the safari we missed due to not being able to dock. We are heading to Thanda Private Game Reserve! Good Bye Neptune, we will miss you on this last leg to London but we've made a great decision for us!Baca lagi

PengembaraWell, we rerouted. Viking basically said you can fly home however you want, so we said, great, we missed the south island of New Zealand, we'll stop there for twelve days. So we're backtracking east instead of going west. Sitting in the Emirates lounge in Dubai right now living large. 😜 Next leg is to Sydney.
