Our hotel happened to be next door to the International Antarctic Center. So for our last day in New Zealand we had a nice brunch and visited the center. With admission you get a ride in a Hagglund, an all terrain and amphibious vehicle used in Antarctica. They also operate a blue penguin rescue in addition to many interesting exhibits, including a room with a simulated antarctic storm complete with winds and subzero temps.Läs mer
