The plane allowed us to see the mountains from above and areas that have no access by roads or trails. It was breathtaking and a smooth ride too!

Made the iconic hike up the hooker valley over three suspension bridges. Kiwis really know how to build trails and all their national parks are free to everyone all the time.

To get to Christchurch we drove one of the most scenic roads in New Zealand, through the heart of the Southern Alps. It's also one of the best places to see the endangered Kea up close and personal.

PodróżnikFrom the time we left the game reserve until we landed in NZ it was a little over 40. Only about 24 in the air. We actually had a couple of relatively good night's sleep on the planes.
