Big city life 🌆

After the quiet and somewhat secluded stays over the last days Colombo is the complete opposite. 🫠
We did a so called “street food tour” 🌯which brought us to one of the busiest street malls we have seen so far and included a very tasty cay tea. 🍵
Today was the last day and it was spent with standard sightseeing. 🗼
Lotus tower, temples, memorials, all the important buildings and statues, a lot in kolonial/british style, so it feels a bit like London (but with better weather) 🇬🇧
After a last rice and curry lunch we headed to the airport. The return journey will takes us to the Malediven 🇲🇻 (but unfortunately only as a 1h stop in the middle of the night) and then back to FRA 🇩🇪via DBX 🇦🇪.

It was a wonderful trip, a beautiful country, nice people, perfect weather and good food. We can really recommend a trip to Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 🌴☀️🐒🌊 Czytaj więcej
