Zrmanja River

It's been extremely hot the last couple of days so we decided to chill at the campsite on Sunday. We felt bad about not doing any walking so in the evening, we diced with death and walked 45 mins down the main road with no pavements to the local restaurant Tomic. Forgetting how quickly the sun goes down, we got parped at by a few angry drivers on the way back 🙄 On Monday we headed out 1/2 hour down the road to the Zrmanja river, intending to do a short hike to the waterfalls. This time we found parking but couldn't find any signs for the trail. Good old Google sent us down the road on the wrong side of the valley and we ended up in someone's drive 🤦We had to walk back the same way (which is a pet hate of mine as I have to do circular walks 😂) by which time we were absolutely melting in the hot sunshine.
