Droving in NSW.

When onw thinks of droving, there is the thought that this was something that happened so long ago. In fact nothing could be further from the truth. On this trip we're have passed several droves with one of them being quite a large herd of cattle.

The way cattle are droved has certainly changed a lot. The horses are gone and the motorbikes and quad bike have replaced them. The drovers have caravans and 4wd trucks. I this modern world one can only wonder at the resurgence of such an old method of moving large numbers of cattle in this huge country.Read more
