    The Excelsior motor manufacturering company was number 3 in America. Only Indian and Harley Davidson sold more motorbikes at that time.

    Costing $265us this 1000cc bike was trimmed in drab olive with a large X in gold and silver on the tank. It had 3 speed transmission. With its huge motor and solid frame I wonder how painful it would have been to ride.Read more
