Coco Bend, Moama

Perhaps we should have called this our billabong tour. We have often been camped beside water or quite close to nice wetlands.

Here we are camped a few metres from a small lagoon. It looks like an old Lagoon or billabong that has been landscaped when the park was built. Birds are visiting frequently and enjoy the large trees. Ducks often fly in and do an exploratory run looking for interesting things to eat.

Not having any requirement to be connecting to 240 volt power definitely has its perks. We are away from the main van parking area yet still handy to the amenities. Today we are collecting some solar power to run our washing machine.Read more
