Maffra Wetlands

The town of Maffra has put in a nice boardwalk to allow one to enjoy the wetlands. Sadly the water is not high at the moment so there is not a lot to see. There is a lagoon on the other side of the area.

Around the other side one has a nice view of the water. There are some birds here but not huge numbers. A sign here says the water quality is generally OK but the carp are a problem.

Taking a walk up the walking track offers a great view over the entire wetland area. There is a string of waterholes that look like they would be all connected together in the rainy season.Okumaya devam et
