Castle Hill by Night, Townsville.

Castle Hill is an awesome vantage point to view the city of Townsville by Night. There are several vantage points to the side of the car parks that offer fairly decent views.

As usual, the best views on offer require sacrifice, effort, and a degree of danger. The 250m summit track is enough to give normal people a pulse of adrenaline in broad daylight. At night with a smartphone led for light, some would say it is verging on crazy. The railing is very old and the path rough. I was rewarded with excellent views. The seaward side has several more vantage points way up an incline and a fair way down over the top. Once again, one might say, views to die for. Hopefully never literally.

This is a recommended visit, but suggest a decent flashlight. Czytaj więcej
