Connors Hill Lookout

As we headed out of Swifts Creek to continue our run to Raymond Island we stopped at this lookout for a late lunch. We had quite a good view over to the hills.

Raymond Island was our destination for this trip. Easter with family and many friends was well worth the long drive. We are heading on from here to Melbourne.

One of the things we enjoy is some of the great street art we see on our travels.
After we left Sale and headed south we were treated to some wonderful artwork on buildings and a water tower.
On our way back from Rocky Creek on our way to Melbourne we stopped at the Koo Wee Rup Observation platform. There is a great view.
The sign nearby tells some history of the area.

This is a view from the lookout over Plenty Gorge. We took a walk for a couple of hundred meters along a fairly rough track. According to a sign there are plans for more walking tracks in this area.

After leaving Melbourne, we drove north as far as Euroa where we booked in to a cabin. Overnight the temperature dropped down under six degrees. We arrived early enough to walk part of the Apex walk.Читать далее
