Salamanca

Salamanca is an historic city in Spain 🇪🇸. We bussed here and spent the day touring and exploring. The city is noted for its historic cathedrals and its university founded in the 12th century.
We enjoyed the tour and the city very much. My high school Spanish was not much help, however. (We have been spoiled by the English speaking staff on our boat.)
We were entertained by a group of university troubadours just before we left on bus for the boat. Overall, despite some Scotland-like weather, a successful day.Read more
