tea drinking in rug shop and our plate

Today we explored local markets which are full of traditional goods (mosaics, gold, lamps, rugs and linen), craft (jewellery, paintings, embroidery), ‘genuine fake’ clothing brands, watches, handbags etc. We met a beautiful man who we bought our turkish plate off ( have been looking for the right one for ages) and then met his brother who owns the rug shop. they have both been in their crafts for over 50 years and were keen to share stories so invited peter and I for turkish tea. It has been a highlight of our trip learning about them, their families, talking quite deeply about life. We did not buy a rug and returned to them both later to give them a koala each.もっと詳しく
