Thailand Phuket we are here!

Arrived safe and sound in Phuket after a long flight, filled with pommies of all sorts. Whilst eating the best massam curry ever last night by sunset on a beach (as you do) an elephant just meandered past!
The people are very graceful, polite and gentle. We have been for an hours walk this morning out of the resort - very very humid and hot. We are getting two one hour massages and a pick up to an elephant sanctuary where elephants are NOT chained, clamped or penned to wash them and feed them. how wonderful! our accomodation is fit for royalty and we have a selection of pools to lounge by later. Lots of Chinese, Indian and Arabian tourists here - different to Türkiye where it was abundantly Russian.Läs mer
