Atherton tablelands pt2: Yungburra

After our diving trip in Cairns, we headed back to the tablelands to do a week’s WWOOFing in Yungaburra. We stayed with the sweetest old couple on this beautiful 5 acre bush block out of town and had the loveliest time getting to know them, helping them rebuild an outdoor garden set of stairs and doing bushwalks around the area. I stupidly forgot to get a photo with them. The husband, Anthony, was kind enough to take to teach us the early steps of welding and he took us out to an old quarry and rock art site near his area for a day trip.
