Cooktown

Beloved old Cooktown! We had such a nice time exploring this quirky little town, we walked around the botanic gardens, walked up Mount Cook and out to the lookout to the neighbouring bays. We met up with one of Petes old family friends and enjoyed a morning sunrise from the lighthouse. This old fella also cooked us the most delicious prawn pasta for dinner!

We also got word from a local ranger on where we could go to spot a local croc. After an unsuccessful initial trip, we were lucky the second time round to see part of the big bull in the water! It was quite a tease though, we waited for half an hour but unfortunately he must have been feeling a bit shy.En savoir plus
