Steak and Potatoes

A lovely breakfast was had by all – shakshouka, yum! And, fresly sliced watermelon, too. After breakfast, we all hopped in the car and made our way to the Los Alcázares outdoor market. Wow!!!

Marjorie and I went to the bank because you need money for the market. We entered and tasted some amazing local melon! We saw everything from produce to meats & cheeses, . But then, Pépé, the property developer rang the doorbell, which we heard/saw on the Eufy doorbell. We had to take off!

Leaving the Prud'homme sisters (and Finnley) behind, Thomas and I met Pépé. After taking a look at the house and assuring us that everything is fine, he promised to revisit on 19th July. Instead of returning to the market, we thought: How about we buy a barbeque? So, we did! We also wanted to purchase a shed, too, but it wouldn't fit in our tiny car!

Barbeque in hand, along with lighter fluid and briquettes, we raced back home to unload it from the car. Then, we returned to Los Alcázares to grab Marjorie, Lysiane, and Finnley. We got back home, jumped in the pool, and then had a lively barbeque. Steaks all around, with some of the best baked potatoes we've ever tasted!

Tummies full, and another packed day behind us, we were all done by the time our heads hit the pillows. Hasta man̈ana!Read more
