Thomas went golfing this morning (one of the best courses in the area, he said). I was supposed to get two dehumidifiers today from Leroy Merlin once I'd dropped off the famdamily in La Manga. Well, scrap that because once we arrived, I refused to leave!
Had a lovely morning/afternoon there. We crossed El Puente de La Risa (or the Mamma Mia Bridge. The rise and drop are fascinatingly steep! Great find, Marjorie!). We found a lovely cove and found a sea sponge and a natural salt stone). We even saw a bit of an airshow! Had a lovely bite at a seaside restaurant, too (Thanks again, Marjorie!)
We missed out on churros, however, because all the churrerias were closed for sieata by the time we left.
Why did we have to leave? Because the awnings were installed today. I wonder why Thomas said that "he had a feeling that they would show up today" and they 'happened' to show up. Hmm...seems shady. Anyway, we-ve got new Awnings.
