Passau to Vilshofen, Germany

Woke up in Passau, Germany with our first bit of rain this whole trip. I needed a good excuse to take it slow and the rain worked in my favor. I had originally signed up for a castle hike but opted for a late morning stroll into town. Most things were closed due to it being a Sunday but I did manage to find a shop and grab a Christmas ornament, something I always purchase when traveling.

I returned to the ship to have the sun return with me. I headed to the sun deck to enjoy my last few hours sailing the Danube and taking in the amazing scenery. This really is a beautiful area of our world and so unlike what we see in our every day lives.

The AMA Verde arrived in Vilshofen and after a short walk into town we prepared for tonight's activity, Oktoberfest! We were greeted by the towns royalty and celebrated the Bavarian way with local music, dance and beer.

A 6 AM transfer to the airport meant it was an early night. Our group said our goodbyes after 1 last dinner. I met some amazing people and had some amazing experiences.もっと詳しく
