Truly dedicated coffee enthusiasts can be immersed an entire coffee experience around those magic little beans at the daily coffee tour.
I learned a lot about the coffee plants, the harvesting process and the processing of the coffee bean until it can be roasted after export.
The Hacienda Venecia needs 250-300 pickers in the high season. Good pickers can harvest 60-80kg of coffee beans. They were paid per kilogram and earn 650 Pesos (~0,16€) per kilogram -> maximum daily wage of 12,53€.Baca lagi
