Started with a visit to Gollum's pool.

19km Tama Lakes hike but the weather wasn't good. Lots of rain and visibility was poor, so we couldn't actually see Mt. Doom even though 500m from it 😕

The hike itself was nice though and the sun did poke out so we could see the Lower Tama lake eventually. Saw the Taranaki waterfall on the way back too.

Drove to the campsite on the edge of Lake Taupo and saw the double rainbow 🌈Læs mere
