Day #50 New Zealand

Walk around Taupo and Lake Taupo. Had a coffee on the lake front. Shaun saw the IronMan stuff, as that's where they hold the New Zealand event each year.

Finally got my ice-cream on the front in the sun. Lovely.

Went to the Craters of the Moon geothermal park. Lots of geothermal air vents with steam. Amazing to look at, and then a quick stop at Hukka Falls (so blue!).

I drove back to Tangoriro for the evening. It rained.Read more
