Day #154 Uzbekistan

Started the day with a walking tour of Tashkent. We learned quite a bit about the history. Uzbekistan is one of the largest cotton producers in the world.

We started at the monument dedicated to space exploration, including Yuri Gagarin.

After, we went on the Tashkent underground metro and each station has a different theme, such as space or literature. They were really pretty. The metro is only 26m deep as well.

Afterwards, we went to Chorsu bazaar and tried making bread. We saw all the spices too and then went to Kukeldash Madrasi and Hoja Ahror Valiy Mosque.

We then had Plov for lunch and got some rest, before catching the train to Samarkand in the evening.En savoir plus
