Full moon in Hoi An. Bucket list ✔️

I have been thinking about this night for months. Being in the ancient town of Hoi An with all of the lanterns, the colours and the full moon. We went on a small boat to release some lanterns (candles) in the river. Floating candles are part of the lantern tradition, where lanterns are released onto the Hoai River. This practice is deeply rooted in local culture and is often associated with spiritual and symbolic meanings, such as wishing for happiness and good fortune. They are lit before being floated on the river, creating a breathtaking spectacle, especially during the full moon. Lanterns (candles) symbolize hope, peace, and prosperity, and releasing them into the Hoai River is believed to carry wishes for happiness, good fortune, and renewal.
