Whitianga

Our 3 hour drive was through some beautiful scenery. However some of this area was damaged by the cyclone that went through here a few weeks ago. The accommodations that we originally booked was cancelled due to damage from the storm. So we changed our plans slightly and came to Whitianga. Its a sleepy little town located on the northeastern coast of the Coromandel peninsula. We love it. ❤️
After a walk around town we went for a geothermal dip. Its a 16,000 year old healing thermal mineral water, reaching up to 41°C. The area is filled with magic making the natural beauty even more enhanced with gems, man -made caves and bar service 😉Weiterlesen
