Literally all day at the airport

Part of flying standby can mean the possiblity of long waits at the airport. We were planning on getting on a flight today however the cabin crew of Air New Zealand is on a rotating strike. So flights have been disrupted. (We should have done our homework) So as a last resort we bought a confirmed ticket because it didn't look good for standby. The only flight we could get a ticket for was the last one out of Auckland. So....we spent the day walking the airport, having a meal and ALOT of people watching. 😳 Side note, the airport is pretty lame....🤣Read more
