Cruising around Lan Ha Bay 🛳🛶

- Taking the 1 day boat cruise to see Halong Bay's sister Lan Ha Bay (less touristic here)
- Visiting a local fish farm and learning that by end of the year all fish farms will have to leave the bay and return to the harbor (good thing as the bay is so overfished/polluted you can barely find any fish in it)
- Jumping from the deck into the bay a couple of times to refresh ourselves
- Noting that there is really a lot of trash in the bay -> tourism with over 5 million tourists per year is definitely not sustainable here 😕
- Kayaking between rocks and through caves to spot some monkeys in the tree (favourite part of the cruise for me that provided the opportunity to really appreciate the beauty of the rock formations in the bay 😁)
- Swimming to a secluded beach in the afternoon and realizing that there is even more trash there...
