Little Rock, Arkansas

We spent a couple of nights in Little Rock camping at an Army Corp of Engineers campground with a campsite on the Arkansas River. We went to the Clinton Presidential Library - nice but not overly impressive. However, there is a replica of the oval office and directly above it is a residence for Bill and Hilary for when they are in town. After that we went to Little Rock Central High School where the national guard was deployed to allow 9 African Americans attend school there during the desegregation time. The school is a functioning school but you are allowed on the front grounds. Next we went to Riverfront Park where there is an impressive sculpture garden. After a beer at the Lost Forty Brewery we went back to the campground.Meer informatie
