Sunrise over the salt flats

Today's plan revolves all around the Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat and home to one of the world's largest lithium reserves under the crust.

It's dry season at the moment, so the white hard crust resembles snow (This was way easier to walk in though).

It was a great way to meet this massive landscape and get started for the day. Oh and a little bit of "desert" mechanics is a bit of fun to see too. Couple of pieces of cable without clamps to help jumpstart another car.Baca selengkapnya
