Tantanoola Tiger

We knew nothing about this story until we read the story on the fridge of our AirBnB at Mount Salt station. Apparently that was the location that the "tiger" was shot and killed in 1895 after it's reign of terror. Then we saw that it was stuffed and mounted at Tantanoola Hotel, so when we happened to be driving past the town, we knew we had to stop and check it out. The tiger, well it turns out to be some sort of exotic wolf that was imported in illegally and escaped.Leggi altro
