Rottnest Island

Anyone who has heard about Rottnest will know just how stunning the beaches and island are. We were lucky enough to have almost perfect weather for the day, which made the aqua blue water glow. We had a great morning swimming over at Salmon Bay. In the afternoon, the wind did start to pick up, but we wanted to fit in another attempt to snorkel, so we went out to Little Salmon Bay this time, and the waves had definitely started to get choppy.

We did not have luck with our e-bikes, though, with one only having one gear that seemed to work and another where the motor seemed to be connected backward and made the bike stop instead of help.

The highlight of the day was the quokka, especially the little one who tried to use the shoulder strap of Alex's bag as a swing. We ended the day with a few cocktails while waiting for the ferry, with the quokkas surrounding us as we were sitting there. Exceptionally adorable.Leia mais
