Monastery Agios Stefanos

After a quick check-in with the receptionist, we decide to drive up to the two monasteries closer to Kalambaka. Since the first is about to close for the day, we decide to have a look at the second. The one open half an hour longer and, more importantly, closed the next day: Agios Stefanos.
The nunnery offers extremely detailed and surprisingly colourful wall paintings, a small museum, and a beautiful little garden with a fantastic view.
Afterwards, we drive from viewpoint to viewpoint, taking pictures of the incredible scenery, until we need to reward ourselves with a drink back in Kalambaka. Before returning to enjoy the sunset, of course.Baca lagi
