Of surfing attempts, bruises&sunburns

Playa Cocles is everything you might expect from a Caribean beach: fine sand, palm trees, lots of small restaurants and bars, and, of course, surf boards. We decide to give it another try and, highly motivated, jump into the waves. Our success at managing to stand up, however, is fairly limited. For a few exhilarating seconds of "surfing" we get lots of bruises, a renewed ear infection (who would have thought), and Dima quite the sunburn (despite wearing a shirt and having put on sunscreen).
