Day 17 Burgos

Day of rest. Sleep late. Mass at 9h with pilgrims' blessing. Long telephone call from my sister Britta discussing, among other things - lots of other things - dates of visits in early November after my Camino. Telephone call during which I walked about on the square on front of the cathedral. And all the while I was looking at the cathedral and the style of the cathedral reminded me of Gaudi! (See photos)

Gradually the square began to fill with people, all dressed in white T-shirts and many with numbers - a race in support of the mentally ill and the deaf.Read more
