Day 19 Rabé de las Calçadas to Hontanas

This is an amazing day for me - 18 km and we arrived before 13:30h !!! Una caña y mi cama!

So we left at 8h. Easy walk, gentle ups and downs, but very long ones. And of course Leo talking me along.

This is the meseta - hated by many and loved by others. Vast countryside of fields, harvested now, where you can see the camino a mile ahead. And lots of wind turbines! And a lot of wind and hardly any sun today.

Off to dinner shortly, a communal dinner was suggested, paella. Quite a number of people accepted the suggestion.Read more
