Day 22. Cont'd: Alternative walk

As soon as you come out of Población you find (if you look for it) the alternative path which goes in parallel at a distance to the official one - you see the other pilgrims like ants in the distance. Few walkers on the alternative.
Walking between the fields I found the old irrigation systems again. Apparently they are being repaired - the joints are sealed with tar and in some places where the conduit is broken big tubes are fixed to take the flow of water.Read more
