Elliston

We took a wrong turn leaving Sheringa Beach this morning. It took us to the next bay, used by surfers....it was magnificent from the top of the cliff looking down. Crashing big waves well off the coast. No surfers yet this morning though. By 11.30 we were in Elliston. Very pleasant caravan park. Lush green grassy sites. Hot showers with good forceful flow. We had a pie at the bakery for lunch, and bought a few things in the grocery store. Then we went to view the Elliston cliff driving trail!! Wow! The sea was wild below the cliffs. Round each bend was another fantastic bay. There were sculptures dotted around the place, and magnificent views. We walked along one path just down the road from the CP, and the wind almost blew us away. We came to a lead free dog beach.
