Salento hands on coffee tour

The coulorful coffee town of Salento. A really gorgeous town. For short journeys to places outside the town, brightly coulored old Jeeps called "Willys" are used. They only leave when full with fools like myself hanging off the rear.
We took a great coffee tour at one of the coffee farms. We donned the appropriate sombrero and poncho and went into the steep field to pick our beans. Our beans were then dehusked, roasted , ground and then we were shown how to properly brew the coffee before drinking it.
