Sunrise over Oviedo

Always difficult getting out of the city but excellent when achieved. Set off at 07.35 and stopped for first coffee at 09.50.
Beautiful countryside and very hilly. Chestnuts trees are loaded but not ready yet. Peaceful walking with only the sound of the tinkling cow bells and bird song to listen to. Agricultural practices are a little outdated in these beautiful valleys; pitchfork skills are still in evidence.Read more
