A nice compact town but the new albergue is not finished and not open yet so the tourist office have arranged for us to stay in a social housing flat that is being kept free as a reserve albergue.Leggi altro
Another one horse town with no services or facilities. So cold now because the wind is blowing over the snow covered mountains straight over the plato. Needing to walk with one hand holding my hat onLeggi altro
Long slog over an increasingly high plato of agricultural fields. Started the day early in very thick mist for 2 hours which slowly burnt off.
Managed to find an even higher climb above Pancorbo after lunch. So much easier to climb without a rucksack.
The highlight of today's walk is the Ebro Valley and the Pancorbo pass.
An excellent albergue and very, very well protected from the locals. Doors and gates locked at all times and laundry guarded. This must be the most well provided albergue we have yet seen andLeggi altro
Another small settlement with no coffee but in the river, under the bridge in the picture there were mirror carp in excess of 30 lbs grubbing up the river bed.
