Capetown

Mahe Island, Seychelles

We took the island ferry to Praslin Island where we stayed until the 11th. We visited and hiked a nature preserve where we were introduced to the Coco deMer tree.

We got up close and personal with giant tortoises on the island of Curieuse. Over 100 live here. They are well protected and studied as the entire small island is a Marine National Park.

We said goodbye to Africa & the Seychelles in particular. What a culture shock landing in Dubai. Huge buildings & plenty of high end cars. A highlight was a visit to the Mall of the Emirates.
