Cape Point & Cape of Good Hope

Today we drove to the Cape of Good Hope & Cape Point.
Winery Tour

Today we visited a couple of wineries on the western cape of South Africa. The first was Anura, & the second was called Alvi. South Africa is famous for wine.
Capetown

We visited Two Oceans Aquarium in Capetown today, so named because they have fish from both the Indian & Pacific
oceans.
Mahe Island, Seychelles

We flew into Mahe Island, the largest island in the Seychelles. Stunningly beautiful to say the least.
Praslin Is

We took the island ferry to Praslin Island where we stayed until the 11th. We visited and hiked a nature preserve where we were introduced to the Coco deMer tree.

We took the local bus to Fond Ferdinand today & did a guided walk uphill. We learned a lot about the Coco deMer tree.
Arriving at La Digue Island

Grande Anse to Petite Anse to Coco Beach

Today we cycled to Grande Anse beach. We hiked in to Coco Beach, passing Petite Anse on the way. We swam in a protected rock pool as the surf was quite rough on the regular part of the beach. It wasЧитать далее

Cousin Island - Baie St Anne (Praslin)

Grande Soeur - Curieuse

Today we motored to Grande Soeur to snorkel in the am, then on to the island for a BBQ on the beach.
Curieuse

We got up close and personal with giant tortoises on the island of Curieuse. Over 100 live here. They are well protected and studied as the entire small island is a Marine National Park.
Fish for Dinner!

While trolling today I caught a Bonita on a fly. We were motoring about 8 knots so the fight was more of a constant drag. Difficult to reel, as a result. The chef cut off the flanks & served isЧитать далее
